Location: Albertson's parking lot on the northwest corner of El Camino and Lawrence Expressway
21 January 2003.
Comments: This is the first Rusty Blackbird reported in Santa Clara County! I originally heard about it on the South-Bay-Birds mailing list on January 12 as a mystery bird in the parking lot near my house. It took me until today (the 21st) to actually make it over to see it.

Of course, I wasn't the only one to post pictures of this bird. Here are some links to other images:
Matthew O'Brien posted an excellent closeup on 13 January.
Joseph Morlan followed up with two beautiful images of the bird on the roof of Albertson's on 14 January.
Also on 14 January, Matthew O'Brien followed up with [ 1 2 3 4 5 6 ] more images.
Chris Illes (along with Cindy Illes, the discoverers of this bird) posted a collection of great images on 14 January.
Tom Grey posted two images taken on Sunday, 19 January.
